Fremantle Diving Centre has dedicated dive spreads and divers who undertake potable water diving across the state.  This diving is undertaken for Water Corporation and other smaller clients and involves maintenance, cleaning and inspection of potable water tanks, reservoirs and pipelines.  Potable water diving requires specialised equipment in order to be compliant with hygiene requirements.  Our potable spreads use dedicated equipment and our divers each have full dry suits of the highest quality to ensure the diver is completely isolated from the drinking water.

Our potable dive spreads carry chlorination units to disinfect a diver prior to entering a tank and rescue gear capable of extracting a diver from inside an elevated water tower to the ground below.  Our underwater cleaning system has been perfected over 20 years and can achieve outstanding results that are cost effective and do not require the tank to be drained.  Our dive teams are also highly experienced at detecting leaks inside water storage vessels and have potable grade dyes and repair compounds that are ideal for repairs in drinking water.
