Fremantle Diving Centre was incorporated in 1972 by Peter Henry. Peter had been a professional deep sea diver who was
working on the big Riggs north of Australia for many years.
This deep sea diving was extremely dangerous work, and Peter had experienced his own fair share of so called close
shaves, whilst working within the industry.
When the opportunity presented itself Peter used his knowledge and experience gained
over the years to set up his own marine repair and salvage company
based from the Fremantle area.
From 1972 until the present day, Fremantle Diving Centre has become well recognized
and established as a professional marine
company servicing all of Western Australia.
The types of work handled over the years by the experienced diving team members, has also contributed to the broad knowledge base
that now forms the base core technology within the company.
The company can also boast unique research and development, which included the design of a floating hydraulic underwater cleaning machine
or FHUC for short, this unique machine is still in operation being used today, for more information on this FHUC
machine

Additional to this research, other products have been developed in the areas of underwater communications systems.
The Divelink Automatic Diver to Diver Communications System. Plus many new techniques developed for underwater pylon repair and water tank cleaning.
